WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?

  • Newport typically experiences mild to warm temperatures in mid-June. During the day, average highs are expected to be ~65, while nighttime lows can drop to ~55. We recommend bringing a light sweater, shawl, or jacket for evening events, as temperatures can be cooler.

WILL THE WEDDING BE INDOORS?

  • Weather permitting, the wedding ceremony along with cocktails will be outside on the lawn. The reception will take place inside a tent. 

WELCOME PARTY ON FRIDAY NIGHT - SHOULD I EAT BEFORE? WHAT IS THE ATTIRE?

  • We're hosting a chic all-white party, so come dressed in elegant, stylish white attire. Think breezy white cocktail dresses, khakis, white button downs, etc. It's after Memorial Day, so officially safe to break out those white pants! Please note that while we will serve appetizers and cocktails, dinner will not be provided we recommend eating beforehand.​ Plenty of great restaurants near the welcome party location!

WILL I RECEIVE A WELCOME BAG IF I'M NOT STAYING AT A ROOM BLOCK HOTEL?

  • Of course! We will be bringing extra welcome bags to the welcome party on Friday, where you will have the chance to grab one if we weren't able to get to your hotel! 

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO THE WEDDING?

  • We kindly request that you dress to impress - black tie is highly encouraged. For men, this means tuxedos or dark suits, and for women, floor-length gowns or chic cocktail dresses. There is often a breeze out on the lawn, so we recommend you bring a shawl or light jacket. 

WHERE SHOULD I STAY?

  • Please refer to the "Accomodations" tab on this website for recommendations on hotels. We are more than happy to answer questions you might have!

WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED?

  • In order to ensure that everyone is able to enjoy and celebrate with us, we will be providing transportation to and from Castle Hill. Please see below for the pickup locations and times: 3:15pm departure from Holiday Inn Express, 3:45pm departure from Newport Marriott (pickup will be next door at Perroti Park), 4:00pm departure from Hotel Viking, 4:00pm and 4:15pm departure from The Red Parrot for those who are staying in the downtown Newport area. Rounds back to all hotels and to Queen Anne's Loft for the After Party will begin promptly at 11:00pm from Castle Hill Inn. Rounds back to all hotels listed above from the After Party will begin at 1:00am

HOW DO I GET TO NEWPORT FROM NYC?

  • Please see "Travel" tab for details. We generally recommend taking the train to Kingston, RI and taking a 20-30 minute Uber from Kingston to Newport. Driving by car is also feasible, but please bake in extra time for traffic particularly during rush hour.

CAN I BRING MY KIDS?

  • While we love your little ones, we kindly ask that you enjoy a night off to celebrate with us! Our wedding will be an adults-only event, so book your favorite sitter and get ready to party!

CAN I BRING A PLUS-ONE?​

  • Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding and cannot wait to celebrate with you!

WHAT IF I HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES OR DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?​

  • the RSVP tab will open up ~2 months before the wedding, where you will have the option to list out all restrictions. Please note the venue is very accommodating! If any concerns, please reach out to us at Mailatom2025@gmail.com
