Travel Recommendations
Home to spectacular coastal scenery, awe-inspiring architecture, a thriving waterfront downtown, and welcoming hospitality, Newport, Rhode Island is the perfect summer getaway. We are excited to welcome you all to Castle Hill Inn -- the location of our engagement and a place that means so much to both of us.
TRANSPORTATION DETAILS - WEDDING CEREMONY & RECEPTION SATURDAY:
To ensure everyone can relax and celebrate with us, we will be providing transportation to and from Castle Hill Inn. Please see the pickup schedule below:

3:15 PM – Departure from Holiday Inn Express

3:45 PM – Departure from Newport Marriott
Note: Pickup will be next door at Perrotti Park -
4:00 PM – Departure from Hotel Viking

4:00 PM & 4:15 PM – Departures from The Red Parrot (for guests staying in downtown Newport)
Return shuttles to all hotels and to Queen Anne’s Loft (for the After Party) will begin promptly at 11:00 PM from Castle Hill Inn.
Final shuttles back to all hotels listed above will depart from the After Party location at 1:00 AM
Car
Drive via I-95 and Route 4 for a scenic trip to Newport. The trip from NYC takes approximately three-to-four hours. If leaving Friday afternoon we recommend budgeting some extra time due to traffic.
Train
Take the Amtrak from Moynihan Train Hall (NYP) to Kingston, RI (KIN) or Providence, RI (PVD) followed by a 30-40 minute bus or Uber to Newport. Trains depart regularly (12:30pm & 2:30pm recommended) on Friday afternoon/evening & take approximately four hours all in.
Flight
The closest airport is Providence Airport (PVD). From there, a cab/Uber is approximately 40 minutes.
If your airport does not fly directly to Providence, you can alternatively fly to Boston and take a train (60 minutes to Kingston RI) or car (approx. 90 minutes) down the coast.
Car Service
Ubers are present in the Newport area & should be a easy way to get around town if needed throughout the weekend. If you feel you need a pre-arranged car service, whether for train/airport transportation or just to/from the venue, we are happy to recommend Driver's Seat (linked! let them know you're here for our wedding!
